Hofstra’s Tim Hegarty Interviews with the LILJ

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Hofstra senior defenseman Tim Hegarty interviewed with the LILJ where he talked about his thoughts on the upcoming season. Hegarty is a Farmingdale native where he grew up playing both football and lacrosse. This year he has been named one of the team captains this season and has been given the honor of wearing number 27 which honors Nick Colleluori who passed away from cancer. Hegarty is currently in the athletic training program at Hofstra currently getting his bachelors degree. He first developed an interest in athletic training after an injury that he suffered back in high school which allowed him to do physical therapy with his trainer at the time.
